2018 NW Government : Agricultural Science Graduate / Internship Programme

Entrepreneurial Development: Diploma in Agriculture (NQF Level 6) mixed with farming or irrigation management

Requirements

Interested applicants should be graduates aged between 18 and 35 years old though up to 38 years oid will be considered subject to certain conditions. Preference shall be given Lo applicants from North West Province who also graduated from colleges of Agriculture. Those who previously participated in Learnership / Internship programme will not be considered. Successful applicants shall be placed in commercial farms / business enterprises for a maximum period of two years and shall each receive an annual stipend of R87 000. The North West Department of Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development is committed to the achievement of diversity and equity in employment.

Applications must he submitted on form 783 obtainable from any Public Services Department and must be accompanied by a detailed CV together with certified copies of certificates and ID. Foreign Qualifications must be accompanied by SAQA evaluation certificate. Faxed or emaiIed and late applications will not be considered. Failure lo comply with the above requirements will result In the disqualification of the application. The Department reserves the right to appoint agricultural graduates.
