2019 Pre-Primary Teaching Intern at The Kindergarten

We are offering a 6-month internship to an energetic, warm and suitably qualified Pre-Primary Teaching Student to join our dynamic environment in an innovative, vibrant and well-established nursery school set on an organic working farm east of Pretoria.

This appointment will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to gain insight into, and practical experience in the Waldorf Way.

Successful applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Studying towards a BEd (Foundation Phase) degree, or ECD diploma.
• Be willing to undergo training in, and study Waldorf education.
• Understand and identify with the Waldorf ethos of The Kindergarten.
• Be creative, innovative and enthusiastic.
• Have a real interest in young children and their development.
• Be willing to work flexible hours.
• Have own transport.
• Be a non-smoker.

Some knowledge of Waldorf education, an artistic flair and an ability to work well with your hands will be to your advantage for this stimulating and exciting post.
