Campus IT Technician.

We have a vacancy open in the Operations Department as an IT Technician reporting to the Operations manager. The applicant will be responsible for all technical support and quality assurance of IT hardware and software.

Duties:

  • Windows/Mac support.
  • Desktop support within office environment.
  • Software installations. Software troubleshooting.
  • PC/Mac troubleshooting & support.
  • Provide preventive and corrective maintenance to onsite IT equipment covering hardware, operating systems and applications
  • Printer troubleshooting & support.
  • Other miscellaneous hardware.
  • Respond to software/hardware related calls.
  • Ensuring that all software updated
  • Hardware maintenance

Requirements:

  • A+N+ Certification or equivalent Diploma
  • Network support tasks (TCP/IP client settings, etc)
  • Strong troubleshooting ability on standard software packages.
  • IT Technical working experience of 3 years minimum, 5+ years preferred
  • Experience in desktop and network support.
  • Windows XP, 7, 8.1 and 10
  • MSDOS Knowledge
  • Windows Server 2008 and 2012
  • Active Directory
  • DNS/DHCP
  • Group Policy
  • Network Infrastructure Knowledge
  • Backup Software
  • ITIL
  • Asset Registers
  • Wi-Fi and Radio
