CETA : 2017 Internship Opportunities

CETA is accountable to its key stakeholders who are core to the success of delivering its mandate. To ensure that this accountability happens, CETA will be consulting with its stakeholders in order to understand the different stakeholders’ expectations and to inform stakeholders on any initiatives that CETA is undertaking.


The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) and the Services Sector Education and Training Authority (SSETA) exist in terms of the Skills Development Act and are categorised as Schedule 3A public entities in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). The CETA and SSETA would like to employ 10 interns on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

• Learner contracting and information management
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Human Resource Management
• Human Resource Development
• Employee Wellness
• Information and Communication Technology
• Communication & Marketing
• Business Management
• Financial Management
• Supply Chain Management

Qualifications and experience: 
• Applicants must be South African citizens with a valid South African ID number.
• Applicants must be unemployed graduates.
• Applicants must have a post matric qualification (2-3 year qualification) obtained from a recognised institute of higher learning.
• Applicants must submit copies of their CV, Grade 12 and post matric certificates.
• Previous work such as vacation work is welcome but not required.
• Please note that this internship may include travelling.
• The CETA will provide a monthly Internship Stipend for the duration of the internship.

Preference will be given to interns around the Ennerdale area.
