ABOUT THE BURSAR
Clicks Holdings Limited were founded in Cape Town, South Africa in 1968. The retail giant sell a wide range of beauty, healthcare, medicinal and lifestyle products across their 670 outlets within Southern Africa.
In order to financially assist students who dream of following a career within the Pharmacy field, Clicks established the Pharmacy Bursary Scheme, so that deserving students may pursue their full-time studies.
ABOUT THE BURSARY
Bursaries will be awarded to students who are pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree qualification, at a recognised South African tertiary institution.
The bursary will cover the cost of tuition. Bursary recipients will be required to complete practical training at a Clicks dispensary during their 2nd to 4th year of study, and on graduation, complete their Pharmacist Internship.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
- South African citizen,
- Between the ages of 19 and 35 years,
- BPharm student in 2nd to 4th year of study,
- Full-time undergraduate studying at a recognised South African tertiary institution,
*Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals.
