About Clinix Health Academy
Commitment to alleviating the national healthcare skills shortage.
As part of our commitment to contribute to the national pool of skills in the fields of nursing and health sciences, Clinix Health Group established its very own nursing college in June 2014. Clinix Health Academy, situated at Clinix Solomon Stix Morewa Memorial Hospital in Johannesburg, offers a range of basic and formal programmes that are registered with the” South African Nursing Council”. The Academy has a team of highly experienced lecturers, clinical facilitators and administrators who are committed to rendering exceptional service to all stakeholders.
The Academy accommodates approximately 100 learners per intake and boasts facilities that include classrooms, a library and a computer laboratory.
The Academy will be instrumental in the development and empowerment of many South Africans, in particular, people from disadvantaged communities and will assist in alleviating the national healthcare skills shortage.

- Two year bridging programme for Enrolled Nurse leading to registration as a General Nurse
Entry requirements
Clinix Health Academy’s curriculum is in accordance with regulations of the South African Nursing Council and the requirements for entry are as follows:
Bridging course
- Grade 12 compulsory
- Enrolled certificate
- Current SANC Receipt Compulsory
- Successfully pass the Assessment test ( 3 hour)
- Certified copy of I.D.
- Proof of Non-Refundable application fee paid(For banking details of Clinix Health Academy, please do get in touch with the administrators of the academy on the number provided above
Foreign students
- Passport
- Study permit
- Work permit
- South African Qualifications Authority Certificate (SAQA) : NQF level 4
- Successfully pass the Assessment test ( 3 hour)
- please make sure that each of the following are to be certified copies : passport, work permit, study permit and SAQA Certificate level 4
VERY IMPORTANT: Please also note that once you have submitted all the required paperwork for application to study at Clinix Health Academy, you will have to go through an interview process which will complete the application process. Please also note that, a decision to allow you to study at the academy will be made after the interview.
Fees and funding:
Clinix Heath Academy is a private institution and successful candidates are responsible for their own course fees, uniform,prescribed and recommended books.
Intake of students:
Intake of students is twice a year and only those that meet the primary set criteria will be accepted at the academy. Please look out on our website and in print adverts in the local media for our next intake.
