CPUT Postgraduate Masters and Doctoral funding
Postgraduate students at CPUT are exceptionally well supported by a wide range of bursaries funded by external organisations and by the University.

Full-time students
|
50% Master’s:R6 000 in total for the year of the research project
100% Master’s: R40 000 per annum for two years
Doctorate:R60 000 per annum for three years
|

Part-time students
|
50% Master’s:R6 000 in total for the year of the research project
100% Master’s: R6 000 per annum for two years
Doctorate: R10 000 per annum for three years

Research running costs
|
All postgraduate students qualify to apply for research running costs from the research directorate as follows.
Master’s: R20 000 per year
Doctorate: R40 000 per year
