Job description
As the digital designer, you would be the custodian of our design department. This position would include creative ideation, designing all things digital from the web to social to mobile, understanding user experience and how the user interface plays its part. When you’re not designing uber cool UI kits, you’ll be fueling up with industry trends to make sure you are always on top of things happening in the design sphere.
Duties:
- Design of UX/UI including website, web systems and mobile app interface elements
- Design of email templates, in line with best practices
- Design of responsive layouts
- Develop and collaborate on personas, user journey’s and wireframes
- Work closely with the copywriting team on any creative assets needed including content pieces, cover photos, etc.
- Design vector illustrations for characters, icons, animations, etc.
- Ensure design is in line with user experience, usability and best practice
- Forge and execute exciting digital ideas

Requirements
- Diploma or degree
- Three+ years of agency experience
- Experience with user interface design patterns and standard user centred design methodologies
- Solid experience with Photoshop, Illustrator (min Adobe CS5 experience)
- In-depth digital design capabilities
- An understanding of the digital landscape including inbound marketing, social media, web development, etc.
Advantageous
- HTML, CSS and front-end development
- Animation skills
