Graduate Programme at Cape Town International Convention Centre

The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) seeks a Corporate Communications graduate to join its team for one year, commencing on 1 January 2017 (Ref: 38/2016).

The graduate’s main responsibilities will include assisting with the coordination of all the corporate communication activities to raise appropriate brand awareness of the organisation. Working closely with the Corporate Communications Manager and Corporate Communication Officer in implementing the communications strategy and executing public relations aimed at positioning the CTICC as one of the world’s leading convention centres. In addition, the graduate will also assist with research and generating reports for the Corporate Communications Manager.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • The successful candidate must be in possession of a matric certificate and be a recent NQF Level 6 or higher graduate in Public Relations or Journalism.
  • Excellent command of the English language and demonstrate a high level of communication, written and listening skills at all levels.
  • Be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word; Outlook; PowerPoint; Excel);
