CULTURE
Monument High School’s Magnetic School for Music commemorates its 47th anniversary in 2019. The music center, which had its beginnings in 1972 with only a handful of teachers and pupils, has withstood the test of time. The success of music education at Monnas Magnetic School is measured by the growing number of students who pass external exams each year, performing excellently in participating in eisteddfods and other major music competitions and writing music as a matric subject. Quality teaching by specialist teachers is a benchmark we proudly uphold.
Hoërskool Monument Application Forms
The Department of Education’s online registrations for prospective Grade 8’s for 2020 are from 13 May to 15 July 2019. The web address of the Department of Education where you have to register your child is www.gdeadmissions.gov.za
Applications for admission can only be valid if a departmental online registration number (“WA” number) has been allocated and entered on the entry form. Application for admission documentation is available at Monnas and can be completed and serves as additional information to the official online registration.
Copies of the learner’s birth certificate, last report, 4 recent ID photos, both parents’ IDs and proof of physical residential address must also accompany the application for admission.
