How To Renew Elanmant Account In South Africa

Anyone who has completed the registration process in the Elamant Portal is an Elamant member. As a member, your account will either be ‘Active,’ ‘Free,’ ‘Inactive,’ ‘Suspended,’ or ‘Terminated.’ The privileges and consequences of each member status level are described below.

Active Member:  A member who maintains an “Active” membership subscription entitles the member to individual rights, privileges, and benefits of an “Active” membership. A member may become “Active” by:

  • Enrolling as a “Free” member and upgrading with an E-Pass or R-Pass
  • Paying for the Premium membership directly to the company with BTC or Credit/Debit card
  • Renewing their membership with an R-Pass or paying directly with BTC or Credit/Debit card
  • Enrolling or renewing with an ‘Elamant Token’

Free Member: A “Free Member” is a limited member who has joined the company for free by selecting the “Free Membership (Inactive)” option upon registration. The “Free” membership is considered “Inactive” and is for evaluation purposes only. The “Free” member will enter into ‘Terminated’ status (see ‘Terminated Inactive Member’ below) after 60 consecutive days if the account is not activated.

  • The Free member will not have access to any Premium features or benefits other than access to the system.
  • A Free member may enroll and personally sponsor other members but may not enroll other Free members.
  • At any time during the Free membership trial, the member may upgrade to “Active” status and receive a new and ongoing membership cycle from the time of the upgrade. For example: If a Free member upgrades to “Active” status 10 days after they became a ‘Free’ member, the start date of the membership cycle will be a full 28 days that begins from the date of the upgrade. By upgrading the membership, the Member will no longer ever be eligible to become a “Free” member.

Inactive Member:  An “Inactive Member” is a member who does not currently maintain an “Active” membership subscription. A member may only remain as an “Inactive Member” for up to 60 consecutive days before entering into a ‘Terminated’ membership status (see ‘Terminated Inactive Member’ below). If an “Inactive” member renews their membership to “Active status, the system will calculate any days of inactivity and deduct these days upon renewal. Inactive members are not entitled to any rights, privileges, or benefits of an “Active” membership. Any pending Data Reward Redemptions will be paused for up to 7 days. If a member remains “Inactive” for greater than 7 days, the Data Reward Redemption will be cancelled.

Example: If a member goes inactive on January 1st and does not renew the account until January 10th, the member will only be active for the remaining 18 days until the renewal becomes due on the original renewal date of January 28th.

Suspended Member:  A “Suspended Member” is a member who has had their account access temporarily revoked. A member may enter into this status from our compliance enforcement team while an investigation is ongoing. “Suspended” members are marked instantly “Inactive” and loses all access to their back office portal until the investigation is complete.

Terminated (Inactive) Member:  A “Terminated (Inactive) Member” is a member who remains ‘Inactive’ or ‘Free’ for more than 60 consecutive days. On the 61st day of consecutive inactive status, the member will enter “Terminated” status. Each Terminated member will be removed from the membership database and will no longer have any rights to access or renew their membership in the Elamant Portal. If a Terminated Member wishes to reactivate their account, they must enroll again as a new Member.

Terminated (Compliance) Member:  A “Terminated (Compliance) Member” is a member who has been barred from the system due to a Compliance Violation. Members that have been manually “Terminated” will not be allowed to register or enroll again. This status will prohibit the username, email address, and mobile number used to ever be used again in our system.
