IEC: Graduate / Internship Programme 2019

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for appointment to the following position/s in the administration of the Electoral Commission, a state institution established by Chapter 9 of the Constitution. The Electoral Commission is an equal opportunity affirmative action employer. LOGISTICS Grad / Intern

Ref: No-01

  • Matric / N3 certificate and a tertiary qualification (Degree / Diploma) in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Procurement / Warehousing/ Transport Management (a post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage).

PROCUREMENT AND ASSET MANAGEMENT Grad / Intern

  • Matric / N3 certificate and a tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Logistics / Supply Chain Management (a post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage).

GRAPHIC DESIGNERS Grad / Intern

Ref: No-03

  • Matric / N3 and a tertiary qualification (Diploma/ Degree) in Graphic Design (a post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage).  He/ she must have covered the latest versions of three or more of the following programmes: Photoshop; Illustrator; InDesign; Flash and Adobe Captivate.

Information Technology Grad / Intern

Ref: No-04

  • Matric / N3 certificate and a tertiary qualification – CompTIA A+ – CompTIA Network + – Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (or working towards it); (Degree/ Diploma) in Information Technology.

Human Resources Management Grad / Intern

Ref: No-05

  • Matric / N3 certificate and a Completed tertiary qualification (Degree / Diploma) in HRM / Labour Relations / Training & Development/ OD (a post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage).

Please Note

  • Applicants for the above position/s should not have a high party political profile.
  • Successful candidates will be required to enter into performance contracts.
  • Should applicants be in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
  • All applications must include:
    • a covering letter that clearly indicates the relevant reference number of the post and your employee number (permanent employees) as it appears on your salary advice;
    • a recent, updated comprehensive curriculum vitae; and
    • certified copies of all qualification documents and identity documents.
  • Failure to attach the relevant reference number and to submit the requested documents will result in the application not being considered.
