JACKS DIVE CHEST

JDC is the oldest operating COMMERCIAL DIVING ACADEMY in Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA est. in Sept 1993. JACK’S DIVE CHEST commercial dive courses are DOL and IMCA approved

JACK’S DIVE CHEST COMMERCIAL DIVE ACADEMY is what we say we are, an ACADEMY. We are not a school, we are a place of HIGHER LEARNING, an academy that prepares you with training to become employed in the COMMERCIAL DIVE INDUSTRY

Our dives are not just bubble blow dives or noughts and crosses tasks on slates, our dives are working dives with actual tools and equipment, at actual depth.

We do not believe a graduate diver can be called “COMPETENT” as per the TRAINING STANDARDS with the minimum amount of dives and time.

Courses Offered at Jacks Dive Chest

Our courses are approved by SOUTH AFRICAN DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR, and are both IMCA (INTERNATIONAL MARINE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION) and UK, HSE (HEALTH AND SAFETY EXECUTIVE) approved for the working diver qualification in the UNITED KINGDOM
