Kurus English offers Examination Preparation for Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE), Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).
Morning: 4 lessons General Intensive English (Upper Intermediate level for FCE, Advanced level for CAE and CPE): Grammar, Skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking.
Afternoon: 2 lessons of FCE; CAE; CPE Preparation Class which include specific guidance, tuition and support aimed exclusively at success in the examinations. Once a week, there is an opportunity to practice and improve your English while joining one of our Language Excursions; which provide you with the occasion to discover and experience the diversity of Cape Town and its people. Depending on the course progress, the Language Excursion might be exchanged for Exam Preparation classes, such as on the other days. This happens by mutual agreement between the students and your teacher.
Enrolment Procedure
Should you wish to book an English Language Course with Kurus English, these are the steps to follow:
- Please fill in the enrolment form below and submit it online.
- We will then contact you to confirm your enrolment request and send you an invoice.
- Immediately after you have settled our invoice (not later than 4 weeks prior to the commencement of your course) your booking will be confirmed and we will be able to send you visa-application documents, should this be necessary. Only then will your booking be confirmed and binding.
- Thereafter, we will send you the password for our Online Placement Test.
- Please fill int the password and submit the completed Online Placement Test.
- We will then call you, if necessary, for a speaking interview to finalise your placement into the correct class.
- You will then receive your accommodation and airport transfer details (around two weeks before the start of your course).
