Medical Practitioner – Health Job 2017

Position:Medical Practitioner: Sessions (2hours per day, 5 days per week)

Division:Family Health
Salary:R102 000 – R149 064 per annum (plus benefits)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Medical Degree – MBChB
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Relevant medical experience

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to patients by assessing the patient and recording the patient’s medical history
  • Examine patients and make diagnosis
  • Prescribe medicine and/or give health education
  • Monitor the patient’s response to treatment
  • Handle medical emergencies at Primary Health Care level
  • Assist and empower nurses to render quality primary health care services
  • Complete daily statistical forms

Area of Operation:

Successful candidates will render services in EMM Clinics in the Northern Area (Kempton Park, Edenvale, Tembisa and portions of Boksburg & Benoni).
