NBI: Work Experience Programme 2017

Stipend:                    R3000 per month

The National Business Initiative (NBI) invites applicants who have not previously participated in any placement, internship or learnership programme and currently unemployed, to gain work experience and exposure in the areas specified below.Duration: 12 months

  • Carpentry and roof work
  • Bricklaying
  • Concrete structures
  • Plumbing
  • Roads
  • Tourism
  • Hospitality

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a South African citizen residing in Gauteng Province
  • NCV Level 4 Civil Engineering and Building Construction
  • NCV Level 4 Tourism
  • NCV Level 4 Hospitality
The National Business Initiative (NBI) has entered into a partnership with Nedbank Foundation, Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator and the Institute of Plumbing South Africa (IOPSA) to train NCV Level 4 Plumbing graduates in the Installation and Maintenance of Solar Water Heaters. Applications are invited from unemployed youth between 18-35 years of age with the relevant qualifications.Duration: 6 months

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a South African citizen residing in Gauteng Province
  • NCV Level 4 Civil Engineering and Building Construction with Plumbing as an elective.
