Please note that our client, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, has instructed us to embark on the process to determine their Black Economic Empowerment status, as contemplated in section 11 (2) (c) of the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, 2003 (Act 53 of 2003).
Although a process to this has been initiated to meet the objectives of the said Act, it is up to our client to undergo and complete the verification process.
It is envisaged that the verification of the BEE status of this client will be finalized once all relevant documents have been submitted, captured, planned and a date confirmed, after which a BEE certificate will be issued reflecting the BEE status of the said company.
