Two types learnership programes qualified can pick, first, it is Student Medical Technician learnership programme, where successful applicants will be exposed with chemical pathology, medical ethics, laboratory safety, physiology and anatomy, microbiology and haematology. Both learnership programmes will grant you both theoretical and practical training. The theoretical training will be conducted in Pathcare Academy that is located in Cape Town. Whilst practical training will be performed in number of laboratories which are available around South Africa. Nevertheless, applying Students Medical Technician learnership program, they should hold grade 12 that is completed with both science (biology) and maths.
