SARAO 2019 call for Hosts/ Supervisors for Postdoctoral Fellowships
SARAO will soon be issuing a call for applications to fill five postdoctoral fellowships in 2019.
The fellowships are awarded for a period of two years, renewable every six months based on progress (plus one additional year if agreed to by the host university, the postdoctoral fellow and the SKA SA).
The value of a postdoctoral fellowship for the current year is ZAR370,000 per annum (non-taxable), and this amount is supplemented by travel and equipment grants. There is no relocation grant for postdoctoral fellowships and fellowships are only tenable at a South African university.
