Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
• National Diploma / National N Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
Professional Registration:
• Registerable as an Engineering Technician with ECSA

• 3 years job related experience in Telecommunications

Key Responsibilities
• Provide installations, commissioning and maintenance service on all telecommunications related equipment (discipline specific or multi-disciplined) to meet established Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators KPI)
• Provide leadership during maintenance. Diagnostics, repair and commissioning by applying his/her advanced skill and experience
• Ensure conformance to safety, health, environmental and quality standards
• Conduct special investigations and provides reports to Head of Section and/ or other stakeholders
• Provides technical consultancy
• Acts as a coach and mentors newly appointed Telecommunications staff and trainees
• Responsible for site management for allocated sites by performing Environmental Management System (EMS) audits
