Below follows a representative sample of the University’s instructional programmes along with the estimated study fees of each, per annum, as applicable in 2017. These figures are simply meant as a rough indication of the cost of tuition. For a more accurate indication of the cost, please refer to the relevant tables in the Calendar 2017, Part 3. Please note that study-related additional costs as for materials and laboratory fees and travelling expenses, calculated according to the amounts of 2016 with the annual increase, are included in the amounts listed below; departments may alter these based on academic need. Estimates for text books (refer to the academic departments), membership dues for academic and registered societies (R50 – R200), PSO fees for private students (R297) and parking fees are excluded.

The study fees and related costs of most postgraduate programmes are also indicated per module in the Calendar 2017, Part 3.
