REF: WTVET 2017/16 – CAMPUS MANAGER

SITE: Thabazimbi Campus (Regorogile)

DURATION: 2 years (Fixed Term Contract)

SALARY: R422 409 plus 37% paid in lieu of benefits

Requirements:

REQV 13 qualification (attach academic records) * A recognised teaching qualification. * Six years’ experience in a TVET  institution, of which twoyears should be at managerial/Supervisory  level. * Knowledge of NCV, Report 191, Learnerships and Occupational Programmes. * A valid drivers’ licence * Proven computer literacy, including Ms Word, Excel and Powerpoint. * SACE registration. * Experience in managing people, projects, finance,labour relations and good governance practices of the TVET sector*.Good communication and interpersonal skills. *Decision Making and problem solving skills. *Policy analysis and Review skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provision of strategic leadership and Management in the Campus. *Effective learning delivery site management * Monitor the delivery of programmes *Internal administration systems and controls to ensure sound student support services, administration and management of NSFAS and donar funding for the students and staff.* Oversee the compilation of the timetable * Conduct internal and external stakeholder liaison and meetings *Comply with and implement effective institutional governance processes and procedures * Compile the annual campus income, expenditure and capital budgets and monitor actual performance * Secure, manage and maintain the fixed and moveable property of the campus * Operational Decision-making * Ensure that a labour friendly environment exists in the campus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Classroom Management. *Development and maintenance of POA’s and POE’s of students * Students guidance and support , including simulation and  finding placement for Work Based Experience. * Monitoring of students attendance. *Monthly reporting of Academic progress.

Requirements:

REQV 13 or equivalent qualification * 3 years experience in Student Support Services  * Broad knowledge of Student Financial Aid Services and Administration * Any counselling training or certificate will serve as an added advantage * Computer literacy, including Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint.* Valid Driver’s license. *Good communication and interpersonal relationship. *Ability to work under pressure * Teacher qualification will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide Career guidance to students * Facilitate and provide counselling to peer and individual students  * Provide information to students with regard to bursaries made available by donor organisations * Coordinate Centre SRC training and provides guidance to the Centre on administration matters * Facilitate extra-mural activities and students involvement in Community programmes * Administer Disciplinary Committee training for students and ensures compliance with Students Disciplinary Policy * Ensure implementation of Student Wellness Programme at Centre level * Administer all bursaries.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Reconcile students accounts with regard to Debtors and Creditors. * Control and capture deposit slips. * Administer the monthly reconciliation of the campus bank accounts. * Administer and control the campus petty cash. * Responsible for the campus asset management,  Supply Chain Requisitioning and Acquisitioning. * Proven experience in asset audits * Contract Administration.

DURATION: 2 years (Fixed Term Contract)

SALARY: R 142 461 per annum, plus 37% paid in lieu of benefits

Requirements:

National Diploma or Degree in IT  * Knowledge of programming management * Computer Skills * Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide IT support to the campus * Assist the IT Manager with the networking of the College and all connectivity matters (College VPN) * Ensure that the information data system is functional, effective and efficient * Assist the IT Manager with regular backups  * Ensure all IT equipment is in a working condition * Ensure optimum and responsible usage of IT services within the College * Maintain software and hardware at the campus  * Administer the internet and e-mail services of the Campus * Ensure an updated IT Asset Register at the campus.

Coordinate Campus Internal and External Examinations* Proven knowledge of Preliminary Examination Schedules Administration and Management * Coordinate the request, receipt, security and distribution of pre-examination material and examination papers provided by the DirNEA * Receives and distributes Student Examination Permits, Certificates to individual students.

Cleaning  and maintenance of  the college garden and surroundings * Control and keep record of cleaning tools and equipment * Clean college tools, equipment and vehicles * Loading and offloading of stocks delivered to the college * Emptying of dustbins* Set up venues for teaching and learning by movement of furniture*Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

SALARY: R 84 096 per annum, plus 37% paid in lieu of benefits

Requirements: 

2 yrs experience in cleaning services * Grade 10 will be an added advantage * Good communication and human relations skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning and general maintenance of the college buildings (offices, bathrooms and boardrooms) * Making of visitors tea and arrangement of Boardrooms for meetings. * Washing of college cutlery and crockery * Emptying of dustbins and application of pesticides * Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
