wced online registration
Candidates who study on their own can register online on the website of the Western Cape Education Department at http://wced.school.za (look for “Adult matric” on the A – Z index).
Candidates who are affiliated to an Adult Learning Centre for tuition, should register at the centre. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that their centre has registered them.
Applications open on 1 October 2016 and will close on 30 November 2016.
What do I need to register?
South African candidates
A certified copy of your previous results (either Gr 9/Std 7 or higher or SC results or NSC results (2008-2011))
A certified copy of your Identity document
Proof of your postal address (eg copy of account posted to you)
Foreign candidates
Certified copy of valid passport, visa and study permit
Copy of previous results or highest qualification (SAQA documents)
Proof of address
