Taung Agricultural College (TAC) was established in 1965 and has undergone several institutional and governance changes until recently when the College registered a new curriculum with SAQA and received accreditation from CHE.
The College offers a Diploma in Agriculture in Irrigation at NQF level 06. The Irrigation Programme is a unique course and currently TAC is the only institution in South Africa offering the diploma in Irrigation.
The College is situated at Greater Taung Local Municipality in North West Province at Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District. The college is situated between Hartswater and Vyrburg.
