School Programs

AUIS delivers the African Centered International Curriculum developed by the ACE Foundation. This curriculum combines the highest international standards and the best practices in African Centered education. It seamlessly integrates at each grade level:

  • A Basic International Module leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) of the Edexcel International Examinations, and the Advanced Placement International Diploma (APID) administered by the US College Board. With these international diplomas, our graduates easily gain admission in the best universities in Africa, Asia, Europe or America.
  • A Classical African Studies Module that provides to students a profound knowledge of the history, geography, culture as well as current issues and challenges of Africa and its Diaspora. This module is at the heart of our African Centered Education pedagogy. It seeks to put the African student at the center of the educational process and not at the periphery.
  • A Servant Leadership Module that grooms ethical and selfless leaders dedicated to the Rebirth of Africa and the uplifting of Humanity. At AUIS we believe that leaders are not born, they are made. Servant Leadership is a viable and progressive alternative to the self-serving leadership style. Servant leaders are motivated by a deep-rooted desire to serve the interests of their followers.
  • A Social Entrepreneurship Module aimed at training a new breed of entrepreneurs that will use business principles to address the social and environmental challenges of the Continent and its Diaspora. A typical business entrepreneur is driven primarily by profits. The social entrepreneur makes profit and seeks financial sustainability not as an end but as a means to achieve the overriding goal, which is the social and environmental impact.
