About Jaguar Land Rover SA Apprenticeship Programme
Unlike most motor apprenticeships, which typically pack their students off to a local college on day release to learn their craft on whatever equipment they happen to have about, all Jaguar apprentice training is conducted in regular blocks at dedicated Jaguar training facilities by dedicated Jaguar instructors / assessors.
The Academy, our state-of-the-art new training centre in Pretoria, which opened in January 2008, is perhaps the best equipped automotive training facility of its type in South Africa. You’ll learn using the very latest models and equipment.
You’ll be taught throughout by the same instructors. And you’ll train with the same group of apprentices each time, so you’ll make good friends too! Plus a mentor will look after your day-to-day development at your dealership, and you’ll receive regular visits from representative to provide assistance and ensure your development is keeping pace.
YOU’VE STARTED, SO YOU’LL FINISH
If your application to join the Jaguar Advanced Apprenticeship programme is successful, then you’re almost certain to ‘graduate’ at course end. Put in the effort and between us we’ll help you to be the best that you can be.

- Mathematics
- Science
- English Language
- Pass rate of 50% plus
- 2 Trade Subjects
WHAT ITS LIKE BEING AN APPRENTICE
Given Malomane has always had a passion for vehicles. After completing his Matric, he joined the Jaguar Land Rover apprenticeship programme, knowing that it would help him achieve his goal.
He says: “Being part of the Jaguar Land Rover apprenticeship was the most exciting thing that ever happened to me. The thing that made it more exciting is knowing that you’re going to be trained by experts to work on these wonderful, amazing cars and I felt blessed for being part of the programs.
