Course Information

NQF Level 4 – 26 Credits.

The course is designed around unit standard outcomes. Course content covers:

The Business and Accounting environment, Document processing, Receiving and Recording, Budgeting concepts, Business Needs analysis, Expense and Revenue control, Compile accounts, Accounting reports.

This programme is aimed at people who are employed at a supervisory or management level in an accounting or bookkeeping field. Learners will be equipped for the workplace as they will learn how to process documents, receive and record receipts and produce accounts. The will also be able to manage a budget in an organisation or business section.

Matric is not essential. It is assumed that you are competent in

  • Communication at NQF Level 3, or equivalent.
  • Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3, or equivalent.
  • Computer Literacy at NFF Level 3, or equivalent.
