IBM Public Finance Administration
Only the Institute of Business Management of Southern Africa – IBM is accredited to offer the Public Finance Administration Course by distance education. Designed for public officials at NGO’s, business, industry, banking, government and local government administration, provinces and municipalities. It is a high demand skills course that addresses the great need for qualified persons with a sound knowledge of financial administration in the Local Government environment.
Ideal for those in full time employment in government aspiring to more senior positions, promotion and better income but cannot attend full time study.
No admission requirements
Matric is not essential. The language of instruction is in easy to follow English. It is assumed that you are competent in:
• Communication at NQF Level 3, or equivalent.
• Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3, or equivalent.
• Computer Literacy at NFF Level 3, or equivalent.

Certification
Your IBM LGSETA Course Certificate will be issued indicating unit standards completed and credits earned. Credits can be used towards appropriate further study at any accredited training institution in South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland and Lesotho.
