Aspects of lighting, using colour and texture, paint, furniture purchase and placement, flooring selection and installation, fabric installations, selecting fabulous window treatments, and accessories are all part of the knowledge and skills required to make a success in the field of Interior Decorating. The FETC: Interior Decorating focuses on the relevant skills and competencies applicable to the principles of decor, decor elements, finishes and basic plans and drawings used in interior decorating planning and design. This qualification also enables access into further studies in this field.
