Rhodes University John Kotze House

John Kotze House

John Kotze consists of the main house with 72 single rooms and an annex situated under the dining hall consisting of 4 single rooms.  The annex is only used for postgraduates.

A very warm welcome to John Kotze Residence.

John Kotze Residence is part of the St Mary Dining Hall and we are located in beautiful gardens right in the centre of campus.  Our residence has one of the most striking façades on campus and this façade mirrors the strength and grace of the ladies of John Kotze.

This residence consists of 72 single rooms in the main building and 4 rooms in an annexe, where some of our post-graduate students stay.  Every room has a basin, single bed, wall-mounted heater (very necessary for our cold winters), an internet connection, a built-in wardrobe, a desk and a chair and these rooms are carpeted.  Every student is provided with linen and curtains, although you may bring your own.
