Why does everything stick to my Scanpan?
In almost all cases, sticking is due to stubborn food and oil residue. Try cleaning them with a baking soda solution.
First, pour water into the pan to cover the base of the pan up to about an inch high – put one tablespoon of baking soda per 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil and let boil for 5 minutes.
Can you ruin a Scanpan?
Steel wool or other abrasive cleansers can scratch the non-stick surface of your Scanpan and damage it, making food stick to your pan again.
You should only use a soft sponge or a dishcloth with soap and warm water on your Scanpan – inside and out.
