The Democratic Governance and Rights Unit (DGRU) is running a project whose objective is to support and enhance judicial independence and the rule of law in Africa. We are seeking to appoint persons as ad hoc research assistants, whose main role would be to conduct research on ad hoc basis for judges and lawyers on the African continent. Suitable candidates should primarily be PhD law or LLM students registered at the University of Cape Town, with demonstrable experience and track record as competent researchers.  DGRU Researchers – application form – CLOSING DATE FRIDAY 8th MARCH 2019.
