2017 SA Military Health Service Traineeship Program
Military health service traineeship program is a 2 year training program that is schemed by the dept of defence. The nature of this traineeship program is to shape the awareness of national building within SA young generations. As well, during the training all successful applicants for traineeship program at military health service will be learned about military customs and norms. In your two years of becoming trainee at military health service, you will be exposed with two things; general training and study opportunities. The general training is divided into four distinctive training depending the applicants’ qualifications, they are; patient administration, physical training instructor, chemical biological radiation defence, and animal health.
Meanwhile, for the study opportunities for military health traineeship, your chances are; veterinary science, nursing diploma, MBCHB, and pharmacy assistant. However generally, each applicant should meet these following requirements before anything else; (1) you are obliged to undergo health assessment that are requested (in the SANDF), (2) to apply for the traineeship, you must be below 23 years, unless you are graduate, then you should be above 25 years old, (3) hold SA citizenship, and (4) zero criminal record and get accepted by Military Selection Board and credit to the military code of conduct.

Your willingness to conduct a six month basic military training, and as well further functional training are another requirement you should match for military health traineeship. Also, you are a personal that is geographically active.
