Requirements

Duties:

Extensive calling to ensure that current debt is recovered
Ensuring that old debt is reduced/recovered
Ensuring that the appropriate matching and journals are done
Assist with the clearing of the suspense account
Processing payments resulting from cash and credit cards received from branches
Obtaining remittances in order to clear and match invoices to payments
Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
Ensuring the database is updated with customer information and comments
Sending copy invoices, credit notes, PODs and statements as requested by customers
Ad-hoc duties as required from time to time in order to ensure the smooth running of the department
