Senior Manager Infrastructure and Property Development 

An exciting opportunity exists at Corporate Office for an experienced and skilled professional to fulfill the Senior Manager Infrastructure and Property Development role within the Infrastructure Asset Management division.

 
Key Performance Outputs
 
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Manager Commercialisation and Infrastructure Development, and will be responsible for the following:
  • Leading infrastructure development strategy including deal structuring approaches, development plans and joint venture partnerships;
  • Guiding airport infrastructure development process and managing and submitting relevant infrastructure applications;
  • Developing JV partnerships and funding streams;
  • Delivering on agreed targeted returns to enhance non-aeronautical revenue;
  • Growing and positioning cash flow whilst managing risk;
  • Negotiating strong and favourable financial terms with the regulatory bodies for existing land;
  • Providing property development expertise on international expansion opportunities;
  • Providing oversight and guidance on tender objectives at operational and group level;
  • Continuously understanding market dynamics and developing solutions that will deliver on Company transformation goals;
  • Managing the company’s risk exposure through identifying, implementing and maintaining risk control measures to minimise company liability;
  • Planning, organising, leading and controlling subordinates’ activities to ensure objectives are met;
  • Coaching the team and assessing development needs to close the gap.
 
Technical Skills and Experience
 
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:
  • Bachelors’ Degree in field of Engineering/ Finance/ Property Development or equivalent, is essential;
  • 8 years’ management experience in Property Development and complemented by further experience in Property Asset Management is essential;
  • 8 years’ management experience in Airport Asset Management would be advantageous;
  • Code B drivers’ license and proficiency in the MS Office.

The successful incumbent will be able to communicate clearly and professionally in multiple formats, tactfully and in a non-confrontational and polite manner. Maintaining a customer focused orientation, whilst consistently achieving set targets. Setting definite milestones and actions for achieving goals and solving challenging problems is essential.  It is also vital that the successful candidate be a skilled negotiator with the ablility to manage conflict.
