About

The Akro Capital Entrepreneurs Scholarship is all about young change-makers. If you’re studying, or are about to study towards a tertiary qualification, and you have a flair for creating things, we want to know about you!

The Scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who best displays the ability to build a business, solve a problem and help push our economy forward. We will contribute towards your studies, and invest in your business venture. Should you require more capital than we can provide to get your venture off the ground, we will facilitate an investment through our network of private angel investors.

As part of the program, you will gain unlimited access to all Akro Capital events, all of our co-working spaces around SA, and even get to meet some of the most successful entrepreneurs across the world at our epic meetups.

Qualifying criteria

Must be involved in some sort of entrepreneurial organisation, or have a business idea that you’re ready to start.

We really want you if you’re passionate about entrepreneurship and prepared to work harder than anyone else you know to bring your ideas to life.

Allowance details

We will make a nominal contribution to your tuition, and invest in your company.
