Application Clearing House opens on 3 January 2017

The Central Application Clearing House website and Call Centre will open for business on 3 January 2017 with a new look.

The site provides a service to Grade 12 students and others with national senior certificate results who are seeking places at the institutions of post-school education and training to which they have applied.

Names of potential students are passed on to institutions.  In turn, when these institutions have places to offer, they will contact the applicant directly.

Online registration is easy. You can request a callback through our website or by SMSing your name and ID number to 49200 (Standard SMS rates apply). You can also call 0800 35 66 35.

This service runs until the end of February 2017.

Login information for extracting lists of students has been sent to the registrars of public universities and principals of public TVET colleges as well as to the CEOs of all SETAs.

Registered private institutions wishing to make use of the service should email CACH@DHET.gov.za
