Available Bursaries In University of Stellenbosch

The number of bursaries available is limited.

Bursaries based on academic merit are therefore awarded in competition (based on academic achievement),
In the case of bursaries based on financial need, such need is ascertained by the means test, and awards considered accordingly, along with academic achievement.

Irrespective of whether a bursary is awarded, the student is expected to make some contribution from his or her own funds towards the costs of study.

Stellenbosch University reserves the right to cancel an award, to make no awards at all and to effect changes to the conditions of the award. Applicants are given every assurance that changes will only be made in compelling circumstances.
