Job Summary Statement Aveng Trident Steel centrally situated in Roodekop, Germiston and other facilities in Alrode, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town provide a wide product range to the steel industry in South Africa as well as internationally from their extensive steel yards, modern and comprehensive steel processing and steel service centers, specialty steel division and tube manufacturing plant.

The incumbent will be responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

Minimum Requirements ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Matric / Grade 12 qualification
• Tertiary education in the Sales and Marketing would be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 2-3 years in the Speciality Steel Products Environment or Internal Sales experience in the speciality steel industry

Duties & Responsibilities • Handling incoming calls
• Liaising with customers
• Dealing with pricing issues
• Developing relationships with suppliers
• Obtain price quotes from suppliers
• Handling enquiries efficiently
• Register complaints with suppliers
• Working closely with despatch
• Submit quotes for customers
• Adhere to the Aveng Trident Steel SHE Policy
• Carry out any other reasonable instructions not listed
Knowledge Skills & Abilities • Must have sound working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Steel Product knowledge advantageous
• Must have good numerical aptitude
• Excellent English communication skills are essential
• Excellent organizational skills are essential
