Position:Divisional Head: Organisational Development and Technology

Remuneration Package:R1 040 497 – R1 300 000 per annum (TCTC)

Key Performance Areas:

  • Partner with key senior leaders in the development of organizational solutions focused on strategy, structure, processes and teams
  • Develop tactical delivery plans in alignment with operational and organisational strategic objectives
  • Build organizational capability through the design and implementation of impactful OD interventions
  • Develop, integrate and monitor human resources information management strategies and plans in alignment with the overall HR strategy
  • Provide change management expertise in support of organizational change projects
  • Participate in the development of organizational effectiveness methodologies and toolkits to be used in Municipality
  • Ensure the implementation of the Human Resource Information System infrastructure that meets organisational requirements
  • Oversee the preparation budgets and financial reports in accordance with statutory and EMM Council requirements
  • Lead and manage teams by providing a meaningful context, setting performance standards, clarifying roles and educating on policy and practice

Core Requirements:

  • A B degree in Human Resources / Organisational Development or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification in related field
  • 8 years’ experience, of which at least 4 years must have been at Senior Management level
  • Proven knowledge on change management, organizational design and development
  • Highly detail orientated
  • Proven ability in building relationships
  • Strong ability in communicating (report writing, presenting) skills
  • Strategic capability and leadership competency
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and acts
  • Stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Financial management skills
  • People management and empowerment skills

Appointments will be made on a 5 (five) year fixed term performance based contract and in accordance with the relevant requirements.  Candidates will be subjected to relevant competency assessment as well as security clearance / vetting processes.
