Clothing & General Merchandise Planning Trainee Programme at Woolworths

INTRODUCTION

The PMT Programme is open to candidates who are looking to develop a career in the challenging and dynamic world of fashion retailing.
Based at Head Office, the program teaches participants about the fundamentals of retailing.
The program will focus on:
• Developing entry-level talent through theoretical learning, practical workshops and functional attachments.
• Providing an opportunity to get hands-on experience in understanding the business and the Woolworths culture
After successfully completing the program, trainees will have the opportunity to take on a full time planning role in one of our Clothing & General Merchandise Groups.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Retail Business Management or similar are preferred
• Previous Retail experience will be advantageous
• Strong numerical ability
• Passion for the brand and our customer
• Ability to analyse and interpret information accurately
• Computer literate (Excel Advanced is advantageous)
• Demonstrated taste level and flair
• Team player
• Planning and organizing ability
• Strong influencing and communication skills
• High energy levels and motivation
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Natural retail intuition
• Sound business and commercial acumen
• A commitment to high performance delivery
