Job description
Great opportunity for a talented copywriter to join the in-house marketing department of an industry-leading promotional products importer, on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate should have an outstanding command of the English language (both spoken and written) and will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Writing copy for marketing mailers.
- Writing blurbs for products.
- Writing copy for any new marketing literature where necessary, based on details supplied via a brief. Copy checking and rewriting any existing marketing literature that requires a refresh.
- Copy checking of all relevant material once it’s been designed.
- Monitoring of the website to ensure all written info is current.
Requirements
- Have minimum of two years’ working experience in a similar position.
- Be willing to work extra hours at key times of the year and be willing to take on tasks beyond the defined role.
- Have own reliable transport (not negotiable).

- Be a highly conceptual, out of the box imaginative thinker.
- Have good organisational and time management skills.
- Have a good eye for detail. Accuracy and the ability to follow a brief is crucial.
- Be able to work independently, self-manage and work well within a team.
- Have the ability to work at a fast pace and to strict deadlines.
Personal Skills/Attributes
- Relevant degree or diploma.
