CPUT Department of Clothing & Textile Technology Open Day 2017

At Bellville Campus
Grade 11 and/or Grade 12 learners or any interested person are hereby invited to an OPEN DAY event in the Department of Clothing & Textile Technology at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology on Thursday, 10th August 2017. This very special event will take place on the Bellville campus, Symphony Road (next to UWC) and will consist of three sessions of two hours.

- 09h30-13h30
- 14h00-16h00
Each session will include the following activities:
- Information about the academic programme offered by the Department of Clothing & Textile Technology.
- Guest speakers from industry on various careers in clothing and textiles, e.g. fashion buyer, clothing/textile technologist, operation managers and production staff, to name a few.
- A tour of the facilities and exhibition of work done by students of the department.
- Fun hands-on activities for learners to enjoy specifically aimed at the different careers in clothing and textiles.
