Dept of labour bursary scholarship provides a bursary scholarship opportunity for suitable applicants who are; (1) recently registered students from accredited university of technologies or universities, (2) already hold matric qualification, (3) students who recently completed their matric qualifications with average 60% for both physical science and maths, and (4) students who will complete their matric qualification. In addition, bursary opportunity is designed for aspiring students aim for; electrical engineering in heavy current, environmental health science, mechanical engineering civil engineering, and chemical engineering. However, students should know that if they already received another bursary, the opportunity is closed for them.

In addition qualified applicants who hold foreign qualification, ensure that you tag along certificate of evaluation by SAQA. Some other documents such as; recent qualifications, identity document, curriculum vitae, application form, covering letter stating the major that you pick.
