Ekurhuleni is the local government of the East Rand region of Gauteng, South Africa and is one of the five districts of Province Gauteng and one of the eight metropolitan municipalities of South Africa. Ekurhuleni means “place of peace” in Tsonga. Ekurhuleni confidently build an Integrated Transport Plan within its responsibilities the next 5 years. The Municipality is a well-known manufacturing centre in South Africa and described as “the workshop of the country”.

The Requirement of Bursary

The criterion for applying Ekurhuleni Bursary that every applicants must adhere are:

  • Applicants must be South African citizen
  • Certified copy of ID and latest CV
  • Provisional letter of acceptance/registration from the desired Higher Education Institute
  • Full official academic results
  • Two written recommendation letters from competence individual/group
  • Applicants are not employed at any public/private
