Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):

• Grade 12 + 3 (Science or Engineering)
Equivalent as follows:
• SRO license/certificate

Related Experience:

• 8 years’ including 4 years Nuclear Power Plant experience

Skills and Competencies
• South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) requirements
• Education and training legislation
• Training principles
• Learnership skills
• Project Management
• Communication skills
• Effective problem identification and resolution skills
• Knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) processes
• Nuclear Engineers Training Programme (NEP) would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities
• Provide an advisory service
• Develop license examinations
• Manage training projects
• Support training quality programmes
• Keep abreast with national and international best practices in the training discipline
• Investigate training abnormal events
• Perform any other legitimate activity as required
