FAMILY TRAVEL
Fairmont Zimbali Resort offers a variety of services to assist you in planning your next South African family vacation in Durban.
Accommodations
Sleeper beds and baby cots are available on request at an additional charge; please enquire upon booking your Zimbali family travel vacation.
A limited number of entry level connecting rooms are available. Please enquire when making your reservation. Some of our suite category rooms do have sleeper couches, which are suitable for older children.
Activities
During peak periods, tailor-made activity programs are run on a daily basis.
Babysitting
Babysitting services are available at an hourly rate:
•R150.00 per hour for one or two children
•R200.00 per hour for three children
•R250.00 per hour for four children

Dining

Kid’s Club
Y-Univers Kid’s Club
Y-Univers Kid’s Club is a fun, interactive social club situated at the Fairmont Beach Club for children between the ages of 5 to 12.
Children under 5 are welcome but have to be accompanied by an adult (parent or babysitter). Babysitters are available for hire. Please arrange with the Concierge before arrival to hire a babysitter if your child is under the age of 5. The Concierge will also assist you in booking your children in at Y-Univers.
Children registered at the club will be under constant supervision of professionally trained staff. Staff are on hand to ensure the utmost safety and security of your children.
During their visit to the club, children will be involved in a myriad of activities including indoor and outdoor games, crafts, sports, swimming and storytelling enabling parents to enjoy a relaxing break and children to enjoy a full, action packed day.
In addition to the many fun indoor and outdoor games available, children will also learn about the different animals that live on the property as well as the conservation of animal life. The children will be exposed to traditional South African games, crafts, music and dancing.
Children can have their lunch at Y-Univers, with food ordered from the exciting Y-Univers kid’s menu.
Hours of Operation
Y-Univers is open during the following school holidays, peak periods and long weekends:
- 8 January 2017: Our Festive Season Program will be in operation.
Babysitting services are available year-round for the convenience of all our guests.
