Job description
Block and Chisel is looking to appoint a part-time receptionist for its Diepriver store.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ retail experience required.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is a prerequisite.
- Computer literate.
- Have a good understanding of retail admin procedures.
Advantageous
- An interior decorating qualification or studying toward it will be advantageous, but retail experience and sales drive is most important.
Personal Skills/Attributes
- Be a strong team player.
- Have a vibrant personality and excellent customer service skills.
- Be well-spoken (English), well groomed, friendly and personable individual, with exceptional personal skills required.
- Must be self-motivated/self-sufficient, reliable, energetic, efficient, positive with a can-do attitude and proactive initiative.
- The successful completion of a pre-employment polygraph test will be required, as part of the company’s working conditions.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts as well as on a four-month, full-time contract from February to May 2017.
