Harvesting Quality Assurance Manager Job Vacancy 2018

A position has become available for a Harvesting Quality Assurance Manager to be involved in a large scale plantation forest development company, currently harvesting, establishing and replanting a total plantation area of 150,000 ha on a 7 year growing cycle.

Harvesting Quality Assurance Manager:

The role involves managing the Harvesting contractors, ensuring they follow the SOP’s and all the operations follow the planned schedules and meet the required quality standard.

The requirements are:

  • Experience in the management of large scale harvesting operations
  • A proven track record as a successful team leader
  • An ability to improve operational efficiencies and quality standards
  • At least 10 years’ experience at a senior operational level with a major forestry company
  • A BSc (Forestry) or Diploma in Forestry is expected, but candidates with extensive practical experience will also be considered.

The company is looking for a results orientated and motivated team player with a positive work ethic.

The positions are in Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia and the successful candidate will be offered a two-year contract, which may be extended.  Salary, allowance and benefits-in-kind offered to the successful applicant are subject to Malaysian tax.
