Hospital board benefits from TUT excellence

Gugulethu Xaba, the Tshwane University of Technology’s (TUT) Director of Student Governance and Leadership Development (SGLD), has just been appointed to the board of the George Mukhari hospital.
​The MEC of Health and TUT Chancellor, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, announced the appointment.
Xaba holds two TUT qualifications, a Master’s degree in entrepreneurship and a B-Tech degree in corporate administration while also obtained a National diploma in company administration from the University of Johannesburg.
He is currently also enrolled for a doctorate in organisational leadership at TUT.
Xaba said, “Serving on the board of one of the biggest hospitals in South Africa is a great honour and a valuable opportunity to make a contribution to the health sector in the country.”
